- Smoothing terrain for gameplay
What did we do?
✅ Updated for UE 5.4.1
Modify the Landscape to your liking
- Use landscape tools to add and remove terrain.
- Use the Flatten tool to create more playable surfaces easily.
- Apply the smooth tool to even out rough areas.
- Define areas for player movement.
- Create objectives and potential combat areas.
Testing the Level
- Play the level to check terrain and player interactions.
- Don't focus on finishing the level, as this will definitively change when we add interactive objects (enemies, platforms, gates, etc.) to our level.
